Change in the GFP Steering Committee

We welcome Dr. Huan Wu as part of the GFP steering committee. Dr. Wu is a professor at the School of Atmospheric Sciences, Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU), with the China’s "National Thousand Talent" Award for Young Outstanding Scientists. Before that, he was an assistant research scientist at the Earth System Science Interdisciplinary Center (ESSIC), a joint center between the University of Maryland in College Park and NASA Goddard Space Flight Center during 2010 to 2016. Dr. Wu has been a very active participant of the GFP since a long time and we are looking forward to his contribution as part of the steering committee.

We would also like to thank Dr. Yang Hong from the University of Oklahoma, who stepped down as part of the GFP steering committee, for his support to the steering committee.
